Hi, I’m Lilah, the creator of Safe Haven, a small handmade shop based in Nashville, TN. I create one-of-a-kind bags using thrifted, upcycled materials, to give old fabrics a new purpose. Every bag is handcrafted and designed by me, with attention to detail and a love for reusing what might otherwise go to waste.

Upcycling is something I’ve done since I was a girl, turning worn jeans into something functional and fresh. My favorite part of the process is hunting for fabric; never knowing what prints or textures I’ll find and how they’ll become part of something new!

Each bag features a unique handmade beaded zipper pull, also created by me, as a small touch of personality and care. Whether you wear one of my bags as a crossbody or a fanny pack, I hope you feel confident, stylish, and proud to support sustainable fashion and small creators.
